Bio
Originally from Lake Forest, Illinois, Keighley Nemickas is a professional performer based in New York City. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Health & Exercise Science and minors in Health Policy & Administration, Chemistry, and Dance.
During her time at Wake Forest, Keighley worked closely with Christina Tsoules-Soriano, assisting her weekly community movement classes for individuals with Parkinson’s disease using the IMPROVment method. Along with a weekly class she co-taught at an Alzheimer’s Care Center, this experience enforced the common threads that draw Keighley to both dance and science - the ability to have a positive impact on the life of anyone it touches, the constant pursuit of excellence, and endless possibility for growth.
Keighley is a proud graduate of the Professional Semester and Online Musical Theater Program at Broadway Dance Center. Keighley regularly assists Lizz Picini and Andrew Wilson, and just finished touring around the US and Canada as JJ and the dance captain of CoComelon Party Time!
When not taking class or performing, you can probably find her reading a book, trying a new dessert, or learning something new (currently chess)!
